Mary McDonnell has left Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) to join Geneva Trading as president and ceo. At CBoT, she served as senior vice president and was responsible for all electronic trading. Most recently she spearheaded the selection process and implementation of the CBoT migration to the Liffe Connect trading platform. Prior to that, McDonell, former cfo of Griffin Trading, oversaw the Ace platform.
Peter Shepherd has been promoted to head of sales in Euronext Liffe's market solutions department. Formerly head of business development, Shepherd's promotion follows the departure of Dan Casey.
