Increased foreign interest in Russian futures markets


Foreign interest in the Russian futures markets has increased markedly if attendance at a recent industry event in Moscow is anything to go by.

The 6th annual Association of Futures Markets (AFM) conference was hosted by Russian Trading System and supported by Russian Federal Commission on Securities.

According to AFM executive secretary Krisztina Kasza, the group is now co-operating with more than 20 organisations, including Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the US National Futures Association, Swiss Futures and Options Association (SFOA), London Clearing House (LCH)...
