Sars hits Asian markets


Asia's deadly Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Sars) is beginning to impact on the financial and futures markets in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Singapore Exchange, the only major futures exchange outside of the US with an open-outcry trading floor, has asked all floor staff to make a daily health declaration in writing.
