Jimmy Ang, Singapore exchange's head of derivatives, has resigned from the exchange. Ang's is one of three senior resignations to follow the appointment of Hsieh Fu Hua as ceo last month. Lew Seng Huat, head of human resources and Anderson Tang, head of the finance and administration department, have also resigned. Ang has been with the exchange since Simex days and was instrumental in developing the exchange's energy futures.

Paul Chow was last week appointed as chief executive of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx). Chow will join HKEx on 1 May - chief operating officer Fed Grede will be acting ceo from 16 April until the end of the month. Chow, a former chief executive of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, joined HSBC Asset Management (Hong Kong) in April 1997 and is currently its regional chief executive, Asia-Pacific ex-Japan.
