Nymex looks to alliance, new raft of contracts

New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) is mulling a possible tie-up with Tokyo Commodity Exchange and is also set to ramp up the slate of contracts trading on its ClearPort platform.
A Nymex spokeswoman confirmed reports that the two exchanges were discussing a memorandum of understanding, but told FO Week nothing had yet been signed.
