ABN Amro has launched a new global over-the-counter commodity derivatives capability to provide financial markets clients with a single platform for financing and risk management solutions. The function will be lead by Brian de Clare, who has been appointed to a new role of Global Head of Commodity Derivatives Marketing. He will be based in London and reports to Denis McHugh, Global Head of Derivatives Marketing. De Clare was previously head of commodities at ABN Amro Futures, responsible for energy, metals, softs, structured inventory products and commodity indexation. He joined the bank from Deutsche Bank.
