BoTCC/Eurex to reach clearing deal

Eurex and Board of Trade Clearing Corporation (BoTCC) were putting the finishing touches to a deal as FO Week went to press.

Sources close to BoTCC said that an agreement was struck early last week and would be completed by last Friday, 23 May. The long-anticipated agreement would entail BoTCC clearing Eurex's US futures business once the German exchange establishes a market next year. Details were unavailable at press time.
