OM mulls index products following HEX merger


The merger between Sweden's OM and the Finnish market HEX, announced last week, could pave the way for a range of new index products, according to OM founder and chairman of the board Olof Stenhammar.

Speaking to FO Week, Stenhammar said the exchange was considering introducing new index derivatives for forestry and telecommunication stocks but wanted to get the merger out of the way first.
