Gonzalo Cuadra, chief executive of London-based Codelco subsidiary Chile Copper Ltd, has been appointed to serve on the board of LME Holdings. He succeeds Juan Herrera whose two-year appointment expired in April. Commenting on the appointment, LME chief executive Simon Heale said Cuadra brought to the exchange "a wealth of experience in the copper and non-ferrous metals industries".
