Chicago Mercantile Exchange last week priced the secondary offering, by some of its shareholders, of 1,220,635 shares of Class A common stock at $69.60 per share. The selling shareholders have granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an extra 183,093 shares of Class A common stock to cover over-allotments.

Cyprus Stock Exchange, Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and Athens Exchange have partnered with index company FTSE Group to launch the FTSE Med 100 Index. According to FTSE, the tradable index is the first to cover this region and has been designed to allow the introduction of derivative products and to attract new investment to the region. The Index consists of the 100 largest stocks from the three stock exchanges and has a market capitalisation of €92 billion.
