MoF eases threat to Nikkei futures
Japan's Ministry of Finance has officially relaxed its stand against the Nikkei futures market, traded at Osaka Futures Eachange. MoF promised that any measures against the contract would be "non-discriminating" and "predictable" during bilateral talks with US government officials.
Meanwhile, OSE has announced plans for a new index to replace the Nikkei 225.
