Steve Monieson, executive vp of Trading Technologies (TT), left the company last week to join Man Group USA as md of e-commerce US. Following his departure, Tim Geannopulos will now be responsible for all of global sales responsibilities at TT, and Parker Boveroux appointed as md of TT Chicago. At Man, Monieson will create a niche group to offer professional clearing business for electronic trading groups and individuals. For the past 16 months he has been co-head of global sales for TT. Prior to that he served as md of TT Chicago for three years. He joined from Man Financial where he was an independent floor broker from 1991-1999.

London Metal Exchange (LME) has appointed Donald Brydon as chairman-designate and independent, non-executive, director of LME and its holding company. Brydon succeeds present chairman John Pizzey, who will step down...
