After months of speculation, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx)'s Walter Reisch, head of the clearing business unit, has left the exchange as of 8 August 2003.
His departure comes after several rounds of cost cutting, staff retrenchments and executive changes implemented by new chief executive Paul Chow.
