Tiffe denies merger but considers future

Speculation that Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange (Tiffe) and Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) are in merger discussions has been scotched by both exchanges.

The rumours were sparked last week after Tiffe said it was establishing a special advisory committee to determine its future organisational structure.
