Connect failure halts Liffe trade

Trading came to a halt on Liffe Connect in London and Paris last Wednesday when the system's hardware failed.

Connect in London was down for over three hours, halting trading in financial and commodity futures. Equities were not affected. The market was back up just before 4pm.
