You've been at the exchange for 14 years yet you've remained largely in the background until sharing the office of the ceo last October. What can you tell your shareholders about what you bring to the ceo position?
I probably have the most varied background of the exchange executives because, in my legal role, I was involved in everything we do. And starting about seven years ago, I took on the strategic planning role. I also helped develop the demutualisation plan. And over the years, there probably has not been an arrangement, partnership, alliance or business initiative that we've done that I haven't had a guiding hand in. So I have a deep knowledge of every facet of our business. I have extraordinarily strong working relationships, certainly with our board, but also with members and employees.
