Currying favour
London-based ISV EasyScreen has appointed a new chief executive and a new non-executive director, and the firm clearly knows its target audience. The new ceo, Peter Hodgson has stacks of experience in the IT sector, for example. But it is new non-exec director Patrick Paines who could well strike the more important chord with City traders, for, in addition to a broad City CV, Paines sits on the boards of Cobra Beer UK and Indian Restaurants Ltd. Rumours that this will help EasyScreen settle a large bill at the local curry house are unconfirmed.
