Liffe takes on EDX London

Euronext Liffe has moved to stave off potential competition from nascent rival, London Stock Exchange subsidiary EDX London, by announcing a range of wholesale services for the equity derivatives market.
In a move that echoes plans announced by EDX, Liffe said it will introduce facilities for trading tailor-made individual equity option contracts and for the trade administration and clearing of OTC equity derivatives business. Liffe is also to enable trading of its Universal Stock Futures...
