Futures and Options Association (FOA) has promoted Hugo Jenkins, director of member services at FOA, to managing director. In his new role he will report directly to Anthony Belchambers and will, in the absence of Belchambers, act as deputy chief executive. He will continue to be responsible for member services and projects. Jenkins joined the FOA in 2000 having previously held positions as both a consultant and head of market development with Liffe. Prior to that he was in broking/sales at GNI and Merrill Lynch.
Russia's RTS Stock Exchange's board of directors has appointed Vladimir Shapovalov as chairman of the risk management committee. Shapovalov heads the risk management department of United Financial Group company.
