Kai Neumann, a senior member of the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) IT team, has left the exchange in the run up to the planned migration of Nymex's electronic trading from Access to the Clearport platform.
An exchange spokeswoman confirmed Neumann's departure, which she admitted would create some hardship for the IT department.
