John Mackeonis, former head of supervision of UK futures exchanges at Securities & Investment Board, which was subsumed into Financial Services Authority, and more recently head of regulation at International Petroleum Exchange, has joined forces with three other industry specialists to form Mpac, a compliance and regulatory consultancy, based in London. Mpac's other founders are Aidan Paddick, previously head of compliance at Rabobank, Nick Andrews, former executive director in the electronic trading division of Goldman Sachs, and Trish Collins, chairman of recruitment firm Exchange Consulting Group.
