CBoT pilots farm options programme
Chicago Board of Trade is in the process of pilot-testing its programme for using options to replace subsidy payments and price floors for corn farmers. The exchange, in conjunction with the US Department of Agriculture, introduced the programme in nine cornbelt counties.
