Indian exchanges introduce gold futures

Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) of India commenced business last week with a 'soft' launch of gold, silver and castor seed futures. Its official launch will take place on 18 November.
MCX is the second exchange to offer gold futures after rival National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) launched its contract on 3 October.
