IPE rejects "blacklisting" claims

International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) last week dismissed claims that Locals who use the electronic trading system face blacklisting by their colleagues.
Locals have largely boycotted electronic trading of Brent crude futures since parallel trading was introduced on 6 October. According to some market sources, this has gone as far as refusal to do business with anybody seen to be using the electronic platform during open outcry hours.
