CBoT bullish for tech moves


Chicago Board of Trade(CBoT) was last week making final preparations to move its clearing to Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and roll out its new trading for 11 of its contracts.

Bryan Durkin, senior vice president of exchange operations at CBoT, told FO Week that both the transitions to the CME-CBoT common clearing link and the Liffe Connect-powered e-CBoT platform appeared to be going smoothly. Both technology projects have undergone a compact 12 week testing regimen.
