'Exchange gaming' threat to grow


Market participants last week expressed concern that trading activities designed to take advantage of exchange regulations through advanced technology will grow as a threat to exchange business. According to some, the techniques used by automated price injection models often send out thousands of unfilled quotes, significantly slowing exchanges down.
