Tokyo Grain Exchange (TGE) and Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) last week signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Futures Industry Association's annual conference in Boca Raton. As part of the agreement, TGE and CBoT will closely share information about listings of new products, changes to existing contact specifications and trading methods. Furthermore, the two exchanges will work together in studying new products and in cooperating on educational and marketing programs, such as informational meetings, training sessions on new products and services, and industry research symposiums. CBoT recently signed an MOU with Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
Eurex announced that more than 400 candidates have signed up for its partial traders' exam, which it introduced following the decision to abolish trader assistant status.
