Icap has hired former Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) president and ceo Jim McNulty as a non-executive director. McNulty, who headed CME from August 2001 until the end of last year, will serve as a member of Icap's group risk committee, the nominations committee and the remuneration committee. Icap, a big player in the OTC markets, recently announced it was ramping up its futures brokerage business, and also struck a deal connecting its bond platform, Brokertec, to futures trading software firm Trading Technologies (see FO Week Vol 9 Nos 5&6).
