CME/CBOE volatility battle continues

Standard & Poor's is attempting to broker a solution to the battle between Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), over who has exclusive rights to trade futures on S&P volatility indices.
S&P has been negotiating with both exchanges in an attempt to resolve the matter, a spokesperson told FO Week.
