CME fires up European counter-offensive


Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) top brass visited Europe last week to promote a major drive by CME to attract business from European trading arcades.
CME chairman Terrence Duffy and ceo Craig Donohue headed the delegation, following the 1 April launch of four new European telecommunications hubs for Globex - in Amsterdam, Dublin, Frankfurt and Gibraltar. The exchange also told FO Week that further hubs in Paris and Milan are to follow later in April.
