Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has appointed Arman Falsafi as managing director, Europe and Asia, following the recent departure of Mark Blundell (see FO Week Vol 9 No 18). Falsafi had been managing CME's London office on an acting basis from Chicago, but will now relocate to London, where she will lead efforts to further expand Globex's international customer base throughout Europe and Asia. She will oversee CME's offices in London, Tokyo and Sydney and will continue to report to Rick Redding, managing director, products and services. Falsafi joined CME in 1999 and most recently served as managing director, global electronic trading and data.
