Eurex US retools block trading levels


Eurex US implemented new lower block trading levels on its US interest rate futures contracts last week in a bid to bring the exchange more in line with over-the-counter participants.The new programme, launched last Monday, moved the minimum block trade size to 1,000 contracts for 2-year, 5-year and 10-year T-note futures, down from 2,500 during US daytime trading from 7.20am to 2pm.
