Euronext results buoyed by derivatives

Announcing its results for the first half of 2004, Euronext indicated that the derivatives part of its business had supported its cash markets over the period, accounting for 38.5% of the group's revenue. Derivatives were one of the key drivers behind revenue growth, although that growth was limited to 2.3% on the same period in 2003.
