Anyway, that being the case I thought I'd share some thoughts on what shouldn't be missed, and - as you might have guessed - I'm not planning to weary you with extensive details of the programme of speakers. Although you might want to check out the latest instalment of Dan versus Ferscha, where the heads of CBoT and Eurex will no doubt conduct a mutual love-in (don't dwell on that image for too long) on the enormous benefits of competition for the derivatives industry. Or something. Also, I would recommend taking in the wise words of a chap called Captain Piccard, who boldly went round the world in a balloon. Probably not very wise, but I suppose it probably...
