People Singapore Exchange (SGX) has appointed Lee Hsien Yang, Olivia Lum Ooi Lin and Robert Owen to the SGX board. The three new directors replace outgoing directors Victor Liew, Goh Yew Lin and Richard Gnodde. Hsien Yang is president and ceo of Singapore Telecommunications, Lum Ooi Lin is group ceo and president of Hyflux and Owen is senior advisor at Nomura International and formerly served as executive chairman of Securities and Futures Commission.
Pacific Exchange (PCX) is promoting Alden Adkins to the position of chief regulatory officer.
