Green trading takes-off down under

Australia's tradable environmental credits market has jumped 206% in annual volumes from the previous year. 6.82m Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) were traded as forwards or options in the 12 months to June 2004, according to data from Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA).
