Nymex to release emissions

New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) plans to enter into the emission credit futures markets, a move that may challenge Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX).
Nymex executives voted last week to create new futures contracts in nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulphur dioxide (So2) emission credits.
