Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has announced the promotions of nine employees as officers of the corporation, effective 20 February: John Labuszewski is promoted to managing director, product and research development. Labuszewski is charged with identifying, researching and capitalising on new product opportunities across all CME product lines and potential market sectors. Before joining CME in 1998, Labuszewski held a number of senior leadership positions in the asset management and sales areas of trading firms such as Nikko Securities, Virginia Trading and Refco.
