Futures Industry Association has announced the election of officers at its annual board meeting in Boca Raton, Florida last week. Joe Murphy of Refco was elected chairman, Richard Berliand, JP Morgan Securities, was elected vice chairman and Wendell Kapustiak, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, was elected secretary/treasurer. Retiring from the board were Peter Borish, OneChicago, Bill Brodsky, Chicago Board Options Exchange, W Robert Felker, JP Morgan Futures, Alan Genn, William McCoy, Morgan Stanley, and Charles Nastro.
