CME beats CBoT in first quarter
Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) was the world's busiest futures market during the first quarter of 1995. Futures Industry Association figures show that CME traded 55.8m contracts in the January to March period, exceeding the 53m contracts recorded at Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT).
