India gets more arbs, lists more new SSFs


Arbitrage between Indian and global commodity futures has boomed as the country's futures markets develop.

Traders have estimated that around 25% of India's commodity futures trades are now due to arbitrage business, mostly in crude oil, gold, coffee and palm oil futures, against contracts traded at New York Mercantile Exchange, Euronext Liffe, International Petroleum Exchange and Bursa Malaysia.
