CBoT boosted by 30-year bonds

The US Treasury said last week it is considering reintroducing the 30-year bond, which could renew interest in the Chicago Board of Trade's (CBoT) futures contract.
CBoT officials have been lobbying in Washington for years to reconsider the 2001 decision to stop issuing 30-year bonds. Since then, futures on the ten-year note have become the most actively traded contract on CBoT. A decision by the Treasury on the matter is expected...
