DB appoints chief of global exchange services

Elliott Aykroyd

Following the departure of Kevin Collins as global head of futures, Deutsche Bank (DB)'s Peter McLady has been appointed head of global exchange services (GES), reporting to Alan Cloete.

McLady was previously head of international futures and commodities in Australia, where he was based for 12 years before relocating to London as head of European sales for GES in 2003.

GES is the bank's global futures and options services business, part of the global finance business within DB's global markets division. The division executes and clears exchange traded futures and options on behalf of clients via its electronic trading platform ExchangeLink.

The bank has seen a number of departures in the last 12 months, including Paul Lewis, head of global market finance, who was due to leave in February this year.
