Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) has named Mark Bagan president and CEO. Bagan will start on 1 July, succeeding Kent Horsage who served as president and CEO for five years. Bagan joined MGEX in 1987 as a floor clerk. During his exchange career, he held various positions in operations, compliance, membership and regulation. He has been vice president of market administration since 1997 and corporate secretary since January 2002.

International Securities Exchange (ISE)'s board of directors has elected Amit Muni as principal accounting officer and Thomas Gibbons as investor relations officer. Muni has retained all of his responsibilities as corporate controller, while his promotion has increased his responsibilities in external financial reporting. Gibbons will now have overall responsibility for ISE's investor relations program. Muni joined ISE in July 2003 from Instinet Group where he was vice president in the finance division.
