ICAP appoints new operations chief

Mark Yallop has been appointed group chief operating officer at ICAP from 1 July. He will also be appointed a director of the interdealer broker at the firm's board meeting on 13 July. Yallop takes over from David Gelber, who is retires from his role as group COO, a position he has held since 1999.
