Plastics make cautious LME debut

The first two days of trading plastics futures on London Metal Exchange (LME) saw measured activity as market participants took time to get a feel for the new contracts.

A spokesperson for the exchange told FO Week, "We always anticipated the market would develop gradually; there wasn't going to be any big bang in the early stages of trading."
