Taxi for EurexLots of gossip flying round last week about what Deutsche Börse's acting chief executive Matthias Hlubek was referring to at the exchange's recent AGM, when he said, obliquely as you like, "Sticking to a path that we have started on, although it does not lead to the desired goal, would certainly not be in your interests as shareholders." Most commentators seemed to be pretty certain that this was a veiled reference to Eurex US, which has fairly conclusively not lead to the desired goal so far.
