Citigroup has been cleared by Eurex's sanctions committee of charges relating to the bank's alleged bond market manipulation in August 2004.
A Citigroup statement explained that the bank, "Has been cleared by the committee of any breach of Eurex general principles, including the principle of commercial trust".
Eurex has, however, fined Citigroup E5,000 for a lesser offence...
