Eurex wins I-Traxx race


Eurex has been granted a licence by International Index Company (IIC) to list futures on its credit default swap (CDS) index I-Traxx, the first contract of its kind to be offered on an exchange.

The European exchange beat others including Singapore Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) to announce plans to list any sort of CDS index future and beat Euronext Liffe to IIC's contract.
