ING to build Singapore futures unit from scratch
Almost six months after the collapse of Barings, Dutch bank ING has applied to create a new futures and options operation in Singapore. According to ING Capital senior MD Karsten "Cash" Mahlmann, the company has now filed for approval with Monetary Authority of Singapore.
